EDITORIAL METHOD
Claim by claim.
We distinguish what a visitor can observe, what an institution asserts and what research can support.
Observation
Material, placement, light, sound, route and bodily response are described before they are interpreted.
Research
We look for original studies, conservation guidance, museum documentation and established scholarship. One experiment is not turned into a universal law.
Uncertainty
Qualifiers stay visible. When a practical exercise is an editorial proposal rather than a validated standard, the text says so.
Application
Every essay offers a bounded action that can be tried in a gallery: a five-pass look, label comparison, light-reading exercise, fatigue check, three-image rule or final-room coda.
Revision
Issue pages carry a review date and link to the research record. Corrections should identify the sentence and source.
